At Made Of Milk (available at madeofmilk.in), we take immense pride in delivering our products in the freshest condition possible. This Shipping Policy explains our delivery process, timelines, and customer responsibilities for all product categories.
1. Delivery Scope & Categories
This policy applies to all products sold by Made Of Milk, including:

Fresh Dairy: Milk, Paneer, Curd.

Sweets & Kulfi: Freshly prepared Mithai and frozen Kulfi.

Bakery & Snacks: Bread, Cookies, Cakes, Savory Snacks, and Namkeen.
2. Service Areas
We currently provide delivery services to specific locations within Mumbai and surrounding metropolitan areas.

Pincode Verification: Customers must verify their delivery pincode on our website before placing an order.

Out-of-Station Shipping: Currently, we do not ship highly perishable items (Fresh Milk, Kulfi) outside of our local delivery network. Select non-perishable items (Namkeen, certain Snacks) may be available for wider shipping as indicated at checkout.
3. Delivery Timelines

Standard Delivery: Most orders are delivered within 24 to 48 hours.

Slot-Based Delivery: For fresh dairy and breakfast essentials, we may offer specific morning or evening slots.

Same-Day Delivery: Available for select areas in Mumbai if the order is placed before the cut-off time (e.g., 10:00 AM).

Note: Delivery timelines are estimates. While we strive to be punctual, delays may occur due to traffic, weather, or logistical disruptions.
4. Shipping Charges

Flat Rates: Shipping fees are calculated based on the delivery location and order value.

Handling Fees: Due to the specialized cold-chain requirements for Kulfi and Fresh Milk, a small handling fee may apply to ensure products remain chilled.
5. Packaging & Perishability

Cold Chain Maintenance: We use specialized insulated packaging for Kulfi and fresh dairy products to maintain temperature during transit.

Immediate Storage: Because our products are fresh and often preservative-free, the customer must ensure someone is available to receive the order.

Responsibility: Once the order is handed over, it must be refrigerated immediately. Made Of Milk is not responsible for spoilage caused by products left unattended at doorsteps or security cabins.
6. Inspection at Time of Delivery

Customers are required to inspect the package for any signs of tampering, leakage, or damage before accepting the delivery.

7. Failed Delivery Attempts
If a delivery fails because:

An incorrect or incomplete address was provided.

The customer was unreachable via phone or at the door.

The premises were locked.
Re-delivery of perishable items (Milk, Kulfi, Sweets) will not be possible, and the order will be marked as "Failed Delivery" without a refund to maintain food safety standards.
8. Order Tracking
Once your order is dispatched, you will receive a notification via SMS/Email with the status of your delivery. You can also track your order directly through your account on madeofmilk.in.
