2. Sourcing & Milk Procurement Process

To ensure the quality, safety, and consistency of our dairy products—including milk, sweets, kulfi, bakery items, and namkeen—Made Of Milk follows a structured, quality-controlled procurement system. Our network is designed to maintain high standards of hygiene and traceability.

  • Milk Collection Centres (MCC): Milk is collected through designated MCCs operated by trained personnel. At these centres, milk is weighed, graded, and subjected to preliminary quality checks. Only milk meeting prescribed parameters is transported to our processing facility via insulated tankers to maintain freshness.

  • Approved Suppliers: We procure milk from approved suppliers who maintain dedicated chilling infrastructure and adhere to strict hygiene standards. Upon arrival at our facility, milk undergoes secondary inspection and testing before acceptance.

  • Village Level Collection (Direct from Farmers): Milk is sourced directly from farmers through village-level centres equipped with automated units. Farmers follow hygienic milking practices, and the milk is promptly transported to chilling centres for rapid cooling to preserve its natural integrity.


3. Testing & Quality Control

We leave nothing to chance. All raw milk and finished products are rigorously tested in accordance with the standards and guidelines prescribed by the FSSAI.

  • Safety & Purity: Regular screening for contaminants, adulterants, and microbial safety.

  • Quality Requirements: Ensuring nutritional and compositional standards meet regulatory benchmarks.


4. Packaging and Labeling

All Made Of Milk products are labeled in strict accordance with the FSSAI Packaging and Labeling Regulations. We ensure consumers receive clear and accurate information, including:

  • Detailed list of ingredients and nutritional facts.

  • Manufacturing and expiry details.

  • Mandatory FSSAI license declarations and veg/non-veg symbols.


5. Our Commitment to Food Safety

Beyond procurement, we follow strict internal protocols:

  • Processing: Facilities adhere to FSSAI-mandated hygiene and sanitation standards (Schedule 4).

  • Storage & Transport: We maintain precise temperature controls throughout the cold chain to ensure the safety of perishable products.

  • Compliance: Adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Good Hygienic Practices (GHP).
